What's new?

We're pleased to announce the latest release of Access Tonic, which includes the updates below.

Time slots selection grid

We've added a further enhancement to our new Tonic ticket widget by implementing the time slots selection grid for both desktop and mobile users. This functionality, which was previously available in the original ticket widget, allows event attendees to select time slots before choosing tickets.

To enable this feature, event organisers can use the "Require time selection before ticket selection" setting in the ticket display options. By choosing "Yes", your customers will be required to select a time slot before they can select a ticket.

On desktop, each time slot displays:

  • The starting time

  • The lowest price

  • Visual indicators for availability status (sold out slots are greyed out, low availability slots have yellow borders)

When a date is selected on mobile, the view automatically scrolls to the first time slot, making navigation easier for your attendees.

When a time slot is selected, only tickets from that specific time slot are displayed, streamlining the ticket selection process.

We have further improvements planned for this feature coming soon, including scarcity labelling to better communicate ticket availability to your attendees.

Voucher error validation

We've improved the visual feedback for invalid discount code entries. When an attendee enters an invalid discount code, the input field now displays with a red border and text below stating the reason for the error. This makes it clearer where the error is occurring and improves the overall user experience.


How to access this update

This release is automatically deployed on Tuesday 25 February 2025 to all our customers along with a package of bug fixes and performance improvements.
