What's new?

We're pleased to announce the latest release of Access Tonic, which includes the updates below.

Time slot urgency labels

We've enhanced the time slot selection experience by adding urgency labels that provide a comprehensive view of ticket availability. This update includes:

  • Dynamic urgency labelling that calculates availability across all tickets for a specific time slot

  • Consistent behaviour with existing ticket level urgency labels

  • Visual indicators that update dynamically as attendees make selections

  • Full support for mobile and desktop displays

These improvements provide attendees with precise, up to date information about ticket availability, helping them make informed decisions quickly.

Time slot display when changing dates

We’ve updated the time slot selection experience to show available time slots when changing the event date. When attendees switch dates, the relevant time slots will be displayed immediately, making it easier to choose their preferred time. This enhancement ensures a smoother booking flow, especially for events with multiple time slots on different days. Additionally, the time slots will only appear when switching to a day with more options.

Ticket widget v2 - Event Brand Stage

We are excited to release the Event Brand Stage of the ticket widget v2, offering event organisers an easy way to showcase events on their websites. The new embeddable script allows for seamless integration by simply adding a script tag with your unique event brand ID. The widget adapts to different screen sizes and supports light and dark themes.

Key updates

  • Easy to embed script for website integration

  • Back button for improved navigation

  • Modern, responsive design for all devices

Find your Event Brand ID

To use the embeddable script for the Event Brand Stage, you'll need your event brand ID. You can follow these steps to locate it:

  1. Log in to your Tonic admin account.

  2. In the header, click Your Event Brands.

  3. Find the specific event brand in the displayed list.

  4. Click the event brand to view its details.

  5. The event brand ID is visible in the brand details or within the URL of the event brand page.

Use the embeddable script

To embed the Event Brand Stage v2 on your website, just add the following code, replacing your event brand ID goes here with your event brand ID:

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://widgets.designmynight.com/tonic/ticket-widget-v2.min.js?brand-id=your event brand ID goes here" data-dmn-ticket-widget="true"></script>

You can also optionally specify the desired colour theme, e.g.

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://widgets.designmynight.com/tonic/ticket-widget-v2.min.js?brand-id=your event brand ID goes here&theme=dark" data-dmn-ticket-widget="true"></script>

This update makes it easier than ever to integrate your event portfolio into your website for a consistent, branded experience. Looking ahead, we’re working on:

  • The Event Brand v2 widget wizard UI for easy customisation

  • Brand logo integration for event brand pages

  • Hover effect design on event cards

With these changes, the Event Brand Stage continues to enhance the user experience and provide more flexibility for event organisers.

Get Ticket button enhancement

We’ve updated the Get Tickets button in the Tickets/Times section of DesignMyNight.com event pages to now redirect users directly to the new checkout experience. This improvement streamlines the ticket purchasing process, offering attendees a smoother and more consistent journey from event selection to checkout.
