The first step to being listed on DesignMyNight is to create your ticketed event listing. Once the event is live and the tickets are on sale on your website or event promotion sources, marketing can be put in place on DesignMyNight.com.
Create an event
To create an event, follow the steps below:
Note: You can't save the event creation form as you go. To complete the setup at a later time, submit the event with a status of Hidden. This saves the event in your admin so you can continue to edit it later. When you're ready for the event to go live, update the status to Public.
From your Access Tonic dashboard, click New Event.
Complete all the relevant fields in the event setup form.
Click Submit.
We then check and approve your event.
Add tickets to your website
You can sell tickets from your event promotion sources via a booking widget, or the DesignMyNight event page URL.
Widget coding
From your Access Tonic dashboard, click Manage for the applicable event.
Click the Widget Wizard tab.
To set a custom widget design, use the Widget Design and Widget Customisation tools.
Copy the coding in the Widget Code box and integrate this into the back end of your website.
DesignMyNight ticket link
From your Access Tonic dashboard, click Manage for the applicable event.
Select Your Ticket Link in the top left-hand corner.
Copy the event page URL and insert it into the back end of your website or event promotion sources.
Once you've attached the tickets to your event promotion sources, you can put marketing in place on the DesignMyNight website.
Marketing on DesignMyNight
Once an event is public, it's automatically promoted on DesignMyNight.com in the event tag categories you selected in the event creation form.
Once the tickets are attached to your event promotion sources, to roll out additional marketing in DesignMyNight's popular and targeted website guides, e.g., Cool & Quirky Events, What's On This Weekend, follow the steps below:
Add the tickets to your website.
