The booking fee is our charge for providing our services and covers the card processing fees charged by our payment provider. The booking fee is 10% on tickets priced under £39, 8% on tickets between £40 and £69, and 6% on tickets over £70. There is no booking fee on free tickets.

By default, the booking fee is put on top of the ticket price and paid by the customer, but you have the option to partially or fully absorb the fee on behalf of the customer.

Follow the steps below to absorb the booking fee across your ticket types:

  1. From your Access Tonic dashboard, select Manage for the applicable event.

  2. Click Edit Listing & Tickets.

  3. Select the Ticketing tab.

  4. Click the Blue Cog image located to the right of the ticket types you wish to absorb.

  5. Scroll down to the Booking Fee Split bar.

  6. Use the slider to partly, or fully, absorb the fee.

  7. Click Save Changes.

Once applied, the total will now be adjusted for those ticket types within the checkout.
