New Tonic Ticket Widget launch

We released our new Tonic Ticket Widget on Tuesday 14th January 2025. Since the initial launch, we have been gathering feedback from our customers and Customer Success team to ensure the best possible experience for your event attendees and organisers.

This major update represents a significant step forward in our ticketing technology, featuring a modern design, improved user experience, and seamless operation across all devices.

What is the new Tonic Ticket Widget?

We've developed a modern, responsive booking interface to provide your customers with a seamless ticket buying journey across desktop and mobile platforms.

The widget offers a device-specific booking experience that automatically adapts to your users' screen size. Whether they are using a laptop, tablet, or smartphone, the widget delivers an optimised, user-friendly interface that makes purchasing tickets faster and more intuitive.

How to access the new Tonic Ticket Widget?

The new Tonic Ticket Widget is now live for all events on DesignMyNight.com. However, event organisers will need to manually embed the widget on their own websites to activate it.

To access the new Tonic Ticket Widget, follow these steps in the Tonic Admin:

  1. Navigate to the Widget Wizard section of your event.

  2. Customise your widget colour theme and configuration.

  3. Choose widget code or widget URL.

    • Widget Code option:

      • Copy the provided code snippet.

      • Paste this directly into your website's HTML.

      • The widget will display embedded on your site.

    • Widget URL option:

      • Use the provided link as a hyperlink on your website to open the checkout directly.

      • The booking experience will be hosted by DesignMyNight.

We recommend replacing your existing widget with this new version to provide your customers with an improved booking experience.


How to access this update

This release is automatically deployed on Tuesday 14 January 2025 to all our customers along with a package of bug fixes and performance improvements.
