Improved ticket visibility settings
We've enhanced the default behavior for ticket display settings to provide a cleaner presentation in the checkout experience:
The "Hide sell until message" option is now set to "Yes" by default for all newly created events
Removes unnecessary sell-until dates from the checkout view, creating a more streamlined appearance
Event organisers maintain full control to override this setting if needed
Existing events remain unaffected, preserving their current configuration This improvement ensures tickets appear neater in the checkout without automatic display of sell-until dates, reducing visual clutter and improving the customer purchase experience.
Transparent pricing display across all pages
We've implemented comprehensive price transparency to ensure event attendees see the complete ticket cost throughout their journey:
All ticket prices now include booking fees across every page of the platform
Complies with UK CMA guidance on drip pricing by ensuring all mandatory costs are displayed upfront
Provides attendees with accurate pricing information from their first interaction with the event. This update ensures customers are correctly informed about the total cost of their tickets at every touchpoint, improving trust and reducing checkout abandonment.
Streamlined scanner configuration
We've simplified the scanner app management in Advanced Settings:
Removed the legacy scanner tab to eliminate confusion
Renamed "Scanner New" to simply "Scanner" for clarity
Reorganised the tab positioning for more intuitive navigation
Provides administrators with a cleaner, more straightforward interface for scanner configuration. This enhancement reduces complexity in the admin interface and ensures event organisers can quickly access the current scanner functionality without confusion.
