There are multiple ways that you can stop ticket sales for an event date. See the options below and the outcomes each option will achieve.

Take a single event date off sale or set it as sold out

To stop ticket sales for an individual event date without refunding the existing customers, set the date to sold out following the steps below:

  1. From your Access Tonic dashboard, select Manage for the applicable event.

  2. Click Sales.

  3. Next to the event date, click Sold Out.

Cancel a single event date

To stop ticket sales for an event date and refund the existing customers, use the cancel date feature:

  1. From your Access Tonic dashboard, select Manage for the applicable event.

  2. Click Sales.

  3. Next to the event date, click Cancel Date.

  4. Follow the prompts to provide a cancellation message and refund ticket holders.

Take all event dates off sale

You can immediately take a ticket off sale across all event dates by updating the ticket status following the steps below:

Note: This doesn't refund customers who have already purchased this ticket type.

  1. From your Access Tonic dashboard, select Manage for the applicable event.

  2. Click Manage, then select Edit Listing & Tickets.

  3. Select Ticketing.

  4. Change the ticket type status from On Sale to Not On Sale.

  5. Click Save Changes.

Remove an event date

Remove an event date from displaying on your ticket page or the booking calendar.

Note: If there are purchases attached to the event date, you need to refund or move them to another date before you can cancel the date.

  1. From your Access Tonic dashboard, select Manage for the applicable event.

  2. Click Manage, then select Edit Listing & Tickets.

  3. Go to the event date calendar and de-select the event date.

  4. Click Save Changes.
