Marketing options in guest checkout
We've expanded marketing capabilities by adding the marketing options to the guest checkout flow. This enhancement includes:
Display of marketing opt-in options for event attendees who are not signed in to a DesignMyNight account and choose to 'Continue as guest' on the checkout
Option to opt-in to DesignMyNight emails
Option to opt-in to the event organisers mailing list
Recognition system that remembers guest preferences e.g. when guests use the same email address for multiple purchases, their previous marketing selections are automatically applied, eliminating the need to opt-in again
This update ensures your marketing reach extends to all attendees while respecting their existing preferences and providing a consistent experience.
Soda voucher booking fee optimisation
We've enhanced the booking fee calculation process when applying Soda vouchers in the Tonic checkout. This update includes:
Booking fee calculation that applies only to the amount paid with money
Complete removal of booking fees when purchases are fully covered by vouchers
These improvements provide event attendees with a fairer pricing structure and a more transparent checkout experience.
How this version will be made available
This release is automatically deployed on Tuesday 8 April 2025 to all our customers along with a package of bug fixes and performance improvements.
