The ticket modification tool allows you to configure the settings for event attendees to self-manage changes to their ticket purchases, including switching the event date or ticket type, or upgrading to a more expensive ticket. You can choose for attendees to switch tickets to up any number of days and hours before the event.
Enable the setting on your event
To switch on purchase modification, watch the video or follow the steps beow:
From your Access Tonic dashboard, click Manage for the applicable event.
Select Purchase Modification Settings.
This is under the Attendees section on the left hand side of the event admin.
Choose what timing rules should be applied.
Click Save.
Steps for customers
For guests to be able to switch their tickets, they will follow the steps below:
From DesignMyNight.com, select their name in the top right hand corner, then select My Tickets on the drop down menu.
For valid tickets which can be swapped, they will see the Manage option within their E-ticket:
After clicking Manage, they can then select which ticket out of their booking they would like to swap:
At this section, the customer can also choose to upgrade their ticket to a more expensive ticket option. The checkout will state how much additional the ticket will cost and they will be taken to the checkout to purchase the remaining value:
If the customer is keeping the same value ticket, they will select their new date and time before selecting Confirm changes:
π Note: The customer will also have a note within their confirmation email with a link to where they can manage their booking for ease.
If they also purchased the ticket as a guest, they will be able to create their DesignMyNight account through a link in the email.
