Follow the steps below to successfully set this up for your event:

  1. Click Manage on your Event.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Click the Self check-in tab.

  4. Select Yes.

  5. Choose whether you want to send the activation link instantly, or if it should be sent X amount of hours prior to the event.

  6. Add an optional message which will appear on the email sent to attendees with the link to activate their ticket.

πŸ“Œ Notes:

  • Enabling Self check-in will stop E-ticket attachments being set out with confirmation emails.

  • If Send Activation Link Immediately has been set to Yes, a button will be added to the customers confirmation emails to activate their link.

  • If Send Activation Link Immediately has been set to No, you will be prompted to input X amount of hours before the event to send the activation link.

  • Activation Duration is the duration the ticket will remain active. This will be reflected on the end screen of the activation process with a flashing box with a countdown timer.

  • You can add a custom message to instruct guests on what they should do with the ticket and when they should activate.

  • The lead booker of tickets will receive a different link to manage all tickets check in status. This can also be accessed in the My Account section of the website.

  • Should you require individual guests emails at the checkout for a multi-ticket booking, each guest will receive a unique link to activate their own ticket.
