Purchasing quantity controls

How to apply a certain or unique quantity of tickets to be purchased.

The following settings will allow you to apply a rule for how many tickets a single attendee can buy.

Fixed Quantity Per Purchase

Use the fixed quantities per purchase tool to input an incremental set of numbers which will be applied when guests add tickets to their checkout such as 2,4,6, 8 and so on if tickets can only be purchased in pairs.

Follow the steps below to put this in place for your tickets:

  1. From your Access Tonic dashboard, select Manage for the applicable event.

  2. Select Edit Listing & Tickets.

  3. Click the Ticketing tab.

  4. Click the blue cog button located to the right of the ticket type.

  5. Scroll down to Purchasing Quantity Controls.

  6. Click Fixed Quantity Per Purchase.

  7. Input the required values into the Fixed Quantity field.

  8. Click Save.


Min / Max Per Purchase

Use Min / Max Per Purchase to ensure that either a minimum or maximum number of tickets that can be selected.

Follow the steps below to put this in place for your tickets:

  1. From your Access Tonic dashboard, select Manage for the applicable event.

  2. Select Edit Listing & Tickets.

  3. Click the Ticketing tab.

  4. Click the blue cog button located to the right of the ticket type.

  5. Scroll down to Purchasing Quantity Controls.

  6. Click Min/Max Per Purchase.

  7. Use the sliding scale to apply the minimum and / or the maximum number of tickets to be purchased.

  8. Click Save.


Limit unique ticket types per purchase

Use this feature to allow customers to only purchase a single ticket type per transaction with additional ticket types will automatically becoming unavailable after one is selected.

Follow the steps below to put this in place for your event:

  1. From your Access Tonic dashboard, select Manage for the applicable event.

  2. Select Edit Listing & Tickets.

  3. Click the Ticketing tab.

  4. Scroll down to Ticket Functionality Options.

  5. On Limit the unique ticket types per purchase, click Yes.

  6. Click Save.
