We're pleased to announce the latest release of Access Tonic, which includes the updates below.
Auto-scroll for mobile view
We've improved the mobile booking experience with an intuitive auto-scroll feature:
When selecting a date for an event on mobile devices, the page now automatically scrolls to the first available ticket type
When pressing on a linked occurrence, the view scrolls to display its corresponding details and image
This improvement create a smoother, more intuitive navigation flow for mobile users.
Cheapest ticket highlighting
We've introduced new functionality to help attendees quickly identify the best value event dates when booking tickets:
Admin settings for cheapest ticket display
Event organisers can now enable the display of cheapest tickets in the checkout through a new option in Tonic admin:
Located under "Manage" > "Edit listing & tickets" > "Ticketing" > "Ticket display options", there is now an option to "Highlight dates with the cheapest tickets"
This allows event organisers to highlight dates with the cheapest tickets, replacing the low availability urgency labels in the calendar
The setting is easy to toggle on or off based on promotional needs
Checkout display for cheapest tickets
When the setting is enabled, the checkout calendar will:
Clearly highlight dates with the cheapest available tickets for the month with a gold border
Include a "Cheapest ticket" legend explaining the highlighting to event attendees
Make it easier for value conscious customers to quickly identify the best deals
This display has also been implemented for the list view of the checkout.
Sales tracking enhancements
We've expanded sales tracking capabilities to the new checkout experience:
Add to widget functionality
Event organisers can now use the "Add to Widget" functionality with tracking codes in the new checkout
Event organisers can find this located under "Promote" > "Sales Tracking" > "Tracking Codes" > "Add tracking link" > "Add to widget"
When the "Add to widget" button is pressed, the system automatically adds the trackingID as a parameter
This opens the ticket widget v2 by default for a streamlined experience
This parameter persists throughout the entire customer journey and allows for consistent sales attribution and campaign tracking
Require phone number for guest checkout
Guest checkout users will now see the phone number field as mandatory when it's been marked as required in Tonic admin, aligning the guest experience with signed-in users.

This release is automatically deployed on Tuesday 20 May 2025 to all our customers along with a package of bug fixes and performance improvements.
