What's new?

We're pleased to announce the latest release of Access Tonic, which includes the updates below:

New Event Brand Widget – Legacy Feature Alignment

We've continued enhancing the new Event Brand Widget to bring it to full feature parity with the legacy version, while also improving the overall experience for event attendees and organisers:

  • Sort events by venue title – Events displayed in the widget can now be correctly ordered alphabetically by venue title, giving organisers greater control over how their events are presented.

  • Priority ordering – Event organisers can now apply a custom priority order to events displayed within the Brand Widget, ensuring the most important events are surfaced first.

  • Responsive event title in Calendar View – The event title is now clearly displayed in the Calendar View on desktop, making it easier for attendees to identify events at a glance. On tablet viewports (below 1024px), the calendar automatically switches to list view for a consistent mobile-friendly experience.

  • Improved Event Preview Modal – The preview modal now displays a clearer "Close" button (replacing the previous "Cancel" label) and shows the event date in a more readable format β€” "From Day, DDth Month YYYY" β€” when multiple occurrences are available.

  • Show Event Preview defaults to YES – The "Show Event Preview" setting in the Widget Wizard now defaults to enabled, ensuring attendees see the rich event preview experience out of the box without any additional configuration.

These improvements ensure that the new Event Brand Widget delivers a polished, fully-featured experience that empowers event organisers to showcase their events effectively and gives attendees the information they need to confidently make a purchase.
