6 July 2026 release notes

Written by Dan Turic

What's new?

We're pleased to announce the latest release of Access Tonic, which includes the updates below:

Add event organiser booking fee at event level

Event organisers using Stripe Connect UK can now override their organisation-wide booking fee for individual events:

  • A new event organiser booking fee field is available in the event editor for both tickets and products, shown alongside the existing "Add new ticket" and "Add new product" controls

  • Setting a fee at the event level overrides the organisation-level fee for that event only; leaving it blank means the organisation default continues to apply

  • The field is only shown when Stripe Connect UK is the configured payment method, keeping the event editor uncluttered for organisations using other payment providers

  • Helper text clarifies how the override works, so organisers can confidently set exceptions for specific events without affecting the rest of their account

This gives organisers the flexibility to run promotional or partner events with a different fee structure, without needing to change their account-wide settings.

Require Event Brand for organisations

We've added a new organisation-level setting that lets event organisers enforce Event Brand selection on every event:

  • A new "Require Event Brand" toggle is available on the Manage Organisation page, disabled by default

  • When enabled, the Event Brand field becomes mandatory when creating or editing any event under that organisation, with inline validation preventing the event from being saved without one

  • When disabled, Event Brand remains an optional field, as it is today

  • The toggle auto-saves and persists across sessions, so organisers don't need to remember to reapply the setting

This gives organisations with multiple event brands greater control and consistency over how their events are categorised.
