15 October 2026 release notes

Written by Dan Turic

What's new?

We're pleased to announce the latest release of Access Tonic, which introduces a new Members page within each organisation in Tonic Admin. It provides organisation administrators with a single location to manage members. Organisation-wide event access is now granted automatically to administrators, removing the need to assign access to each event individually.

New centralised Members interface

  • Members are managed from one Members page within the organisation in Tonic Admin, rebuilt to align with the Evo design system.

  • The member list displays 25 members per page.

  • Summary counts at the top of the page reflect the whole organisation and remain unchanged when navigating between pages or searching.

  • Search matches names and email addresses, including partial matches. Symbols such as ( . + * are matched as entered.

  • The member export dialog includes Member ID as the first column.

Administrators receive access to all organisation events

  • Members added as Administrators can view, edit and update every event in the organisation, including events created after they were added.

  • "Manage all organisation events" is ticked and locked for every Administrator, so the setting always reflects their role.

  • Promoting a member to Administrator grants this access immediately.

  • Demoting an Administrator to Member removes organisation-wide access. Access cannot be retained during demotion; to restore it, the "Manage all organisation events" setting must be ticked again after the change.

  • Removing an Administrator from the organisation also removes their organisation-wide access.

  • The administrator who creates a new organisation is added as an Administrator with this access.

Organisation-wide access for members

  • Administrators can tick or untick "Manage all organisation events" for any non-administrator member. Ticking the setting grants access to every event in the organisation; unticking it removes that access.

  • Members who already hold organisation-wide event access are shown with the setting ticked.
